I cant believe its been over a month since I started this blog and this is only my second post. Must do better this month... My excuse is its school holidays and the kids are taking up all my time!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div>One exciting piece of news is that I'm having a new jewellery bench made. Its being made by the lovely Tony at <a href="http://craftbenches.co.uk/index.html">Craft Benches UK</a> and it's almost finished! It truly is a bespoke desk, Tony has been fantastic! Everything I asked for, Tony very kindly obliged. He even duplicated my old peg, making an exact replica in oak! It's similar to etsy but is British and therefore the currency is in pounds. Etsy is American and I think the currency was offputting to British customers.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">Well I really am out of practise because its taken me over an hour to write this post. Thought I'd join the 21st century and create a blog. So many new things have happened recently I feel a need to share, so here goes!<div><br /></div><div>I've recently opened an <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6882431">etsy </a>shop to sell my jewellery, the address is <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6882431">sarabuk.etsy.com</a>. </div><div><br /></div><div>The etsy shop is the culmination of 2 years studying for a Foundation Degree, not in making jewellery, but in learning how to have a successful jewellery business. I've actually been making for about 10 years and selling to friends and family. About 2 years ago a local shop, <a href="http://www.artparade.co.uk/">Art Parade</a> in Saltaire, West Yorkshire, started to sell my jewellery and it suddenly felt real! I've passed my course now so its time to concentrate on making a go of it. </div><div><br /></div><div>My end of year exhibition was held at Dean Clough Gallery in Halifax, West Yorkshire.
